The C.P.P. Designation: Strategic Supply Chain Management Leadership Program
The C.P.P. designation is the most sought-after achievement in supply chain management in Canada. Called the Strategic Supply Chain Management Leadership Program, the program leading to the C.P.P. accreditation has been redesigned and enhanced. The program shifts the focus from purchasing to strategic supply chain management in order to meet the evolving needs of the marketplace.
Balanced to deliver supply chain management knowledge and high-level business skills, the C.P.P. program is competency-based and takes an integrated approach. The program is designed so learning can be applied immediately in the work place.

The Certificate in Supply Chain Management
Today's global market demands skilled entry to mid-level practitioners to support the managment of increasingly complex upstream and downstream components of extended supply chains. PMAC now introduces a series of courses and seminars in supply management to meet this need for proficiency in functional area processess and technical competencies.
Supply management training consists fo introductory technical courses, soft skill seminars and business management seminars. Participants can access either a single course of seminar, or can complete the entire package and earn a Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
The intended audience is junior and intermediate practioners requiring a technical competence in supply management. The training will also be of interest to others seeking knowledge of supply management at an introductory level.
These courses and seminars replace the Principles courses and Certificate in Purchasing being phased out in June 2009. The new training is distinct from the Strategic Supply Chain Management Leadership Program and cannot be applied towards a C.P.P. accreditation.
The technical training courses
are offered at the University of Manitoba and can be taken in
any order.

“The program is flexible, very doable, and offered in a way that you don’t have to sacrifice family life… The only regret that I have is not doing it a lot sooner."
