This Program will cover topics on supervision in dealing with individual employees as well as with groups.
Theoretical models of behaviour, conflict resolution, problem-solving, decision-making, management and leadership styles, group dynamics, motivation techniques, impact of globalization and computer technology on work, time and organizational management, managing change and diversity, and working in a non/unionized environment will be covered.
A strong emphasis will be placed on how to apply concepts and techniques to real work situations.
The Program consists of two required 36-hour courses for a total of 72 hours. The first course is the pre-requisite for the second course.
