CIBC Scholarships Help Students Succeed in Agribusiness

A reception was held at the Fort Garry Campus Wednesday, April 12th, 2017, to recognize the achievements of Micheline Le Heiget, Fiona Jochum, Mark Carlson, Sheena Meggison, William Pallister and Michael Wilton.  These students were awarded the 2015-2017 CIBC Agricultural Scholarship for Agribusiness undergraduates.

Guests from the CIBC included Quinn Friesen (Agriculture Banking Specialist) and Lance Derksen, Senior Manager for Pembina Valley. Faculty and department representatives and graduate students were also pleased to attend.
CIBC Agricultural Scholarships are some of the most significant awards in the Agribusiness program. The scholarships attract top students, motivating them to achieve top marks and recognizing their exemplary work.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness degree, have achieved high standing in courses related directly to Agribusiness, have a minimum CPGA of 3.5 and demonstrated community involvement, both on and off campus, with a strong interest in pursuing a career in Agribusiness.
