Staff and students of the Food Science Department gathered to acknowledge the receipt of Dr. Bushuk's Distinguished Achievement Award from the ICC. The award was presented in absentia at the Bosphorus2008 meeting in Instanbul and accepted by Dr. Martin Scanlon on behalf of Dr. Bushuk. The award recognizes Dr. Bushuk's seminal contributions to gluten proteins and cereal components. Dr. Bushuk thanked the staff and students, past and present, for their assistance in his research over the years.
