 5  Grow Your Own Garlic workshop, CANCELLED
  Event has been cancelled due to low enrolment.
 26  All About Pumpkins, 10am-1pm 
   Kids can carve jack-o-lanterns while parents learn how to make delicious pumpkin pie!
 Bring your own pumpkin or buy one on site.  Complimentary carving stencils. Try a piece of pumpkin pie for $2.
 Feel free to wear your Halloween costumes.  Prizes for the best costume and most creative jack-o-lantern.

 9  Do It Yourself Soup & Sandwich, 10:30-12:30
   Learn how to make a flavourful vegetable-based soup and bake your own multigrain bread.  Bring your own sandwich fixings and join the other participants for a relaxing lunch following the workshop.
 Cost : $15
 11-13  Piglets will be born.
 23  Winter Wildlife Craft, 10:00-11:30
   Children can learn about the wildlife that stay in Manitoba for the winter and make bird suet to feed their winged friends.

 DECEMBER  
 7  Wreath Making Workshop for Kids, 10:00-11:30 
   Make a beautiful wreath for your door using fabric scraps and a coat hanger.  Materials provided.
Cost: $20
   Canadian Christmas Cooking, 1:00-4:00 
   Learn how to make two traditional Canadian Christmas dishes – tourtiere (meat pie) and pea soup, as well as two truly Canadian dainties – butter tarts and Nanaimo bars.
