Friends and colleagues of the Department of Landscape Architecture have established an endowment fund to support graduate fellowships at The University of Manitoba. The award is intended to support research in Landscape Architecture by providing a fellowship to a master’s student in a thesis/practicum program.

The duration of the award is for one academic year and is non-renewable. This award cannot be held concurrently with another major fellowship.

The fellowship is available to:

• full-time students in the master’s program in Landscape Architecture in the Faculty of Architecture

• selection is based on the quality of the thesis/practicum research proposal, as well as on high academic standing (normally a minimum 3.5 GPA)

• applicants must submit an approved thesis/practicum research proposal and an official copy of their transcripts and must satisfy other program application procedures defined by the department
