In celebration of the life work of Dr. Étienne Gaboury (B.Arch./58) and his commitment to design and society, his friends have established an endowment fund at the University of Manitoba. The purpose of the fund is to support students pursuing graduate studies in Architecture.

The available annual income from the fund will be used to offer one bursary to a graduate student who:

•  is enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies, in the first year of the Master of
Architecture degree program

•  has achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0 (or equivalent) based on the last
60 credit hours of study

•  has demonstrated financial need on the University of Manitoba general bursary application
form
