Mr. Leonard C. Klingbell, a graduate of the class of 1950 from the Faculty of Architecture at University of Manitoba, established a fund to support a scholarship in the Department of Architecture. In 2005, a bequest by Mr. Klingbell was added to the fund.

The scholarship shall be offered to a student who:

• is enrolled as a full-time student and is entering Master’s 2 in the Department of Architecture at the University of Manitoba

• has achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3 on all courses completed in the Department of Architecture

• has demonstrated excellence in at least one Design Studio in the Master’s program.
