An annual award of excellence is offered by the Manitoba Professional Planners Institute (MPPI) to the graduating Master of City Planning student having the highest academic standing in the Manitoba Canadian Planners program.

The award consists of a plaque and a gift (usually a book on a professionally related theme) which are to be presented at the Annual General Meeting of the Association held in June.

All students who have graduated in the months of October, February and May preceding the AGM are considered for the award.
