Student Computer Lab
CADLab operates a student computer lab in Rm. 121D Architecture II.

The lab is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the door is secured with a punch code combination lock.  The combination is available to all staff and students in the Faculty from the main CADLab office in 124 Architecture II.

Hardware:

The are 18 student workstations and one instructor workstation in the lab.
The computers are all 27” iMacs configured as follows:
  • 3.4Ghz Quad Core i7
  • 8GB RAM
  • 2TB Hard Drive (1TB Mac, 1TB Windows)
  • AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2GB Graphics
  • 2560x1440 resolution screen
  • DVD +/- RW Drives


They all dual boot OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and Windows 7 Professional.
