Important information:
The Faculty of Education has added three Canadian Studies courses to their list of approved teachables;

  • CDN 1130 W An Introduction to Canadian Studies (6),
  • CDN 3730  Canadian Identity: An Interdisciplinary Approach (3)
  • CDN 4410 Seminar in Canadian Studies (6).
Moreover, Canadian Studies students may apply to the Faculty with an Honours, Major or Minor in Canadian Studies if the courses that make up their interdisciplinary degree are those that have been previously approved by the Faculty as teachable subjects such as French, History, Native Studies, Geography and Fine Art). The Faculty will also be prepared to evaluate other courses in the Canadian Studies interdisciplinary degree on submission of a course syllabi.
