Social and Political Philosophy, Normative Ethics, Applied Ethics.
My main areas of research are in historical, contemporary, and applied political philosophy. My dissertation concerned the deficit of democracy within global financial institutions such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. I recently completed a Research Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Novel Tech Ethics, Dalhousie University where I worked on the project Pandemic Planning and Foundational Questions of Justice, the Common Good and the Public Interest. My current work focuses mostly on topics in normative democratic theory, global justice, and public health ethics.
