A minimum of 85% average over the following
with no less than 60% in each course:
a. English 40S
b. Two additional 40 S or U courses
Note: Completion of either Applied Mathematics 40S or Pre-Calculus 40S is not required for direct entry to the Faculty of Arts, but would facilitate registration in courses used to fulfill the University’s mathematics requirement for graduation.
The undergraduate degree programs offered by the Faculty of Arts will provide you with a liberal education and prepare you for a future career. You will have the opportunity to take part in hands-on-research with world-class faculty members. In addition your degree will provide you with the oral and written communication skills, research abilities and critical thinking skills highly sought by today’s employers.
Degree Programs Available
There are four different degree programs available in the Faculty of Arts:
Bachelor of Arts General Degree (90 credit hours)
Bachelor of Arts Advanced Degree (120 credit hours)
Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree (108-120 credit hours)
Bachelor of Arts Integrated Studies (90 credit hours)
