When do I find out if I have been accepted in my program?
You will be notified by mail one to two weeks after your Application to Enter Certificate Program is received. If you have not received confirmation by then, please contact your Program Administrator.
Can I transfer courses that I have taken from another institution?
Credit towards a certificate may be granted for courses taken from other educational institutions, from another faculty at the U of M, or in another Continuing Education Certificate program. We recommend that you contact the Program Administrator prior to applying for credit.
When do I get my course grade?
Final grades are normally mailed two to three weeks following the last class or final exam. If you haven't received your grade report, contact the Program Assistant. Please note that grades will not be released over the telephone.
Students may register for further courses prior to receiving a prerequisite course grade. If the prerequisite course is not successfully completed, the student may withdraw and receive a full refund.
I called your office and the staff won't give me my marks.
Our policy is to ensure student confidentiality and our staff members are not authorized to provide this information. Please contact the Program Administrator if you have any concerns.

“The program is flexible, very doable, and offered in a way that you don’t have to sacrifice family life… The only regret that I have is not doing it a lot sooner."
