The Government of Manitoba
The Certificate Program Public Sector Management (CPSM) is designed for new and developing mid-managers who often bring technical skills to their managerial role but have had little opportunity to cultivate and enhance their management skills. The CPSM will focus on developing a knowledge of management tools for a dynamically changing environment, an awareness of government budgetary processes and various methods of analysing issues to develop better alternatives and solutions.
A strong emphasis is placed on integrating the important and current issues affecting all levels of government in Manitoba. The instructors have a wealth of hands-on senior management experience in the public sector.
Program Structure
The CPSM is a one-year part-time study program and will be piloted in Blended Learning format integrating face-to-face sessions with on-line learning.
