The Credit Union Institute of Canada (CUIC®) is the professional designation division of CUSOURCE® Credit Union Knowledge Network (CUSOURCE Knowledge Network), the national educational association owned by the Canadian credit union system.
CUSOURCE Knowledge Network provides Canadian credit unions with professional development programs for their elected officials, management and staff.

The CUIC® programs are designed to give registrants an in-depth understanding of the key competency areas in credit union business management.
The Institute offers both the General Business Studies Program (GSP) and the Management Studies Program (MSP) outlined below.
The General Business Studies Program (GSP) gives students a balanced overview of key competency areas in business management.
The Program includes:
The Fellow of the Credit Union Institute of Canada (FCUIC) designation is awarded upon completion of the 9 required courses and an equivalent of 2 years full-time employment in the co-operative financial services industry.
The Management Studies Program (MSP) offers a combination of general and credit union specific courses.
The Program includes:
The Associate of the Credit Union Institute of Canada (ACUIC) is awarded upon completion of 11 required courses, 2 elective courses and an equivalent of 5 years of full-time employment in the financial services industry. Two of these years must be in the co-operative financial services industry.
Credit for some courses offered by Extended Education, University of Manitoba may be transferred to some CUIC® designation programs.

All course and incidental fees associated with the University of Manitoba equivalent courses are payable to the University of Manitoba.
The CUIC Admission Fee is payable to the Institute. Please direct admission/fee inquiries to the Institute Office.
