The Supply Chain Management Association Manitoba (SCMA) is the principal source of training, education and professional development for supply chain management professionals in Canada.

In co-operation with SCMA, the University of Manitoba, Extended Education, offers both the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) accreditation and the Supply Management Training program.
Today’s global market demands skilled entry to mid-level practitioners to support the management of increasingly complex upstream and downstream components of extended supply chains. SCMA provides a series of courses and seminars in supply management to meet this need for proficiency in functional area processes and technical competencies.
Supply Management Training consists of introductory technical courses, offered through the University of Manitoba, Extended Education, and soft skill and business seminars offered through the MIPMAC. Participants can access a single course or a seminar, or can complete the entire package to earn a Certificate in Supply Management.
The intended audience is junior and intermediate practitioners requiring a technical competence in supply management. The training will also be of interest to those seeking knowledge of supply management at an introductory level.
Four technical courses each consisting of 13 weeks of instruction (or 39 classroom hours) are offered through the University of Manitoba, Extended Education and include:
