Final Dates for Admission - Summer Session 2013

University 1  

In Person  

In person applications must be completed no later than 5 working days prior to the start of a course.

Mail or Online  

In order for an online or by mail application to be processed on time, it must be received no later than one month before the beginning of classes. See Important Dates for Summer Session 2013.

Current University 1 students will remain in University 1 for the Summer Session, and if eligible, will be able to transit to the Faculty of Arts or the Faculty of Science for Fall/Winter using Aurora Student in June (TBA, please check back for this date). Exceptions to this policy will be considered on appeal to the Dean's Office, Faculty of Arts or Science. Admission to all other faculties for the Fall/Winter are processed by a formal application to the Admissions Office. General Studies (Extended Education)

In person applications must be completed no later than 5 working days prior to the start of a course; however, applications may be accepted in person past these dates with complete official documentation and permission from the Student Advisor (204-474-8330/7154 or generalstudies@umanitoba.ca.

Faculty of Arts  

Courses starting in May, June, July, and August
March 1, 2013 (including documentation) – Advanced entry only.  Please note that the March 1 deadline date applies to students transferring to the Faculty of Arts from other educational institutions or U of M students applying to transfer from faculties other than University 1.

Current University 1 students will remain in University 1 for the Summer Session, and if eligible, will be able to transit to the Faculty of Arts for Fall/Winter using Aurora Student in June (TBA, please check back for this date). Exceptions to this policy will be considered on appeal to the Faculty of Arts Dean's Office.
