Steps in Undergraduate Admission

  1. Complete the Application for Direct Entry Programs. Please go to Admissions and follow the instructions that apply to you. You may apply directly online, or download and print the application form which can be filled out and mailed with all the appropriate documentation to: Admissions, 424 University Centre, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 2N2.

  2. Attach required documents and fees to the application. The official document(s) pertinent to your application, such as:

    1. official Grade 12 mark statement(s) or equivalent certificates;

    2. official university transcript(s) from all universities/colleges previously attended. A document is official only if it bears the seal or carries the certification of the issuing institution. Photocopies or student's copy of mark statements are NOT acceptable.  If it is necessary to write the institution(s) concerned for the required document(s), please request that the Registrar forward an official transcript to: Admissions, 424 University Centre, The University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 2N2.

    3. If you are requesting admission as a Visiting Student, letter of permission from the university at which a degree is being sought (must be course specific).

    4. birth certificate (original or certified copy) if you are requesting admission as a mature student, and marriage certificate (original or legible photocopy), if the name on the application is changed from the name on the birth certificate or academic documents. A change of name for reasons other than marriage must also be supported by appropriate certification.

  3. Submit the application, application fee, and accompanying documents to:

   4.   Confirm that Admission has been completed before attempting to register. A     
         Certificate of Acceptance will be received by mail, or call Admissions,
