2. Do I need to apply for admission?
If you are not already admitted to the University of Manitoba, you are required to apply for admission. Please go to Admissions for more information.
3. How & when do I register?
Registration begins March 18, 2013, and continues until the course start date. For your convenience, you may access the registration system at aurora.umanitoba.ca. Please refer to Registration Schedule and Registration Procedures.
4. Do I have fair access to space in courses?
Yes, for the first 5 days of registration, an equal number of spaces are released each day. So, whether you are assigned to register on Day 1 or on Day 5, gradual release ensures you fair access to space in courses. Following the initial 5 days, reigstration is open to all students in all courses. Please see the Registration Schedule.
5. How do I pay my fees and are they refundable?
Please to go umanitoba.ca/summer - Fees/Refunds for detailed information regarding fee payment. It you withdraw from a Summer Session course you may be eligible for a fee refund. please go to Voluntary Withdrawl and Refund information.
6. Where do I get a student I.D. card?
Picture identification (I.D.) cards are required to access a variety of services available to Summer Session students, including the library, athletic facilities, and access to exams. Please go to Exams I.D. Cards & More.
7. Where can I park?
For student parking information and rates, please go to Parking Services.
8. Where can I buy books and supplies?
The University Book Store is located in University Centre at the Fort Garry Campus, and the Brodie Centre at Health Sciences Campus. Please go to Fort Garry Book Store or Health Science Bookstore for hours and other information including online ordering.
9. Where can I eat?
Dining rooms and canteen facilities provide a variety of food services for Summer Session students. Please go to Food Services.
10. How do I obtain a tuition receipt for Income Tax Purposes?
Tuition and Education Amounts Certificates, Form 2202A, for income tax purposes will be issued online through Aurora Student. Go to Student Affairs, Registrar's Office.
