Final grades for all other courses taken during the Summer Session will be available on Aurora Student approximately August 31.
Grade AppealsInternational Students
An international student is any student who does not hold Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Landed Immigrant) status. See International Students for more information. The University will no longer be providing students with International Health Insurance as of April 30, 2012.
Special Tuition Fee rates apply to all international students. Go to International Student rates.
If you expect to complete the requirements for your degree, diploma, or certificate in the Summer Session for graduation in October, you must indicate your intent to graduate. For students in the Faculty of Graduate Studies, graduation dates are entered by Faculty of Graduate Studies staff.
When accessing Aurora Student, select Enrolment & Academic Records, Declarations, and then Declare Graduation Date. The deadline to declare intent to graduate (online) for October graduation is July 26, 2012.
Photo ID CardsYour student photo identification (Photo ID) card is your access key to all student services.
You should carry your Photo ID card with you at all times. It is issued when you first register and is permanent throughout your attendance at the University of Manitoba.
The Photo ID Card is your library card, and allows you to encode cash for Library photocopying or microforms (see below for more information). In addition, you will also be asked to show your Photo ID card when you sit for examinations, and you will need it if you pay the athletic facility use fee, purchase a food service meal plan, or purchase a discounted bus pass.
Photo ID cards are available following admission to the University of Manitoba. Students who have not yet obtained their picture ID card should do so at the ID Centre (see locations & hours below).
For returning students, the Photo ID Card you received the first time you registered is valid for your use as long as you are a student. Your registration is checked by computer when your card is passed through an ID Card reader, so it is not necessary to renew or reactivate your ID card each year.

There is a fee for a replacement card regardless of the reason for loss, except in cases where loss was reported to the Winnipeg Police and a police report number is provided to the ID Centre. The magnetic coding on your Photo ID card can be "loaded" with a sum of money so that you can use the card at library photocopying machines or at library microform machines.
Your Photo ID card can be encoded with a cash amount at the cash card manager unites in the Elixabeth Dafoe Library, the Albert D. Cohen Managment Library, the D.S. Woods Education Library, the Sciences and Technology Library, and the Neil John Maclean Health Sciences Library.
