Registration begins March 18. Please go to Registration Schedule.

You may access the registration system online through Aurora Student. If you are a new student, it is strongly recommended that you go through the online registration tutorials prior to registering.

Registration - Aurora Student

During the first five days of registration, you can only register on an assigned day based on the last two digits of your student number.

To register, go to Aurora Student, select Enter Secure Area, and login using your Student Number as your UserID and your PIN. Next, select Enrolment and Academic Records. You will now be able to perform a number of functions in Aurora Student, including: view class schedule, change your PIN, add or drop classes, view your academic records, etc.

Fee Payment

When you have completed your registration, you should ask Aurora Student for a Fee Assessment. Fee balances can be obtained using Aurora Student – select Enter Secure Area; then login using your Student Number as your UserID and your PIN. Next, select Enrolment & Academic Records, Student Records, and View Account Summary by Term. Note the exact amount of your fees.

Fees must be paid by the specified dates. Outstanding balances after these dates will be subject to late fees and students may be placed on Hold. You will not be sent a fee statement in the mail. Fees must be paid in accordance with the Fee Payment Deadline Dates.

Remember to withdraw from courses you do not plan to attend - failure to pay fees will not cancel your registration. Go to Non-Payment of Fees.

Changes to your Registration

You may make changes to your course selection including adding or dropping sections anytime up to the last date for registration. After any course change, please review your course selection and your fee balance.

Steps to Registration

Step 1: Choose your course(s)

If you have questions about your course selection, consult a Student Advisor or registration representative in your faculty or school. University 1 students are particularly urged to contact an Academic Advisor in the University 1 Student Help Centre, (204) 474-6209. It is advisable to choose alternate courses in case your original choices are not available. Where necessary, obtain permission for your courses.

Step 2: Register Using Aurora Student

Step 3: Fee Assessment

When you have completed your registration, you should use Aurora Student to obtain a fee assessment. In Aurora Student, select Enrolment & Academic Records, Registration, and Registration Fee Assessment.

At anytime, fee balances may also be obtained through Aurora Student by selecting Enrolment & Academic Records, Student Records, and View Account Summary by Term.

Step 4: Pay Your Fees

Fees must be paid in accordance with the Fee Payment Deadline Dates  and Payment Options.

Your existing Photo ID card will remain valid. However, if you do not have a photo ID card you should obtain one at your earliest convenience. See Photo ID Cards

Course Cancellations

We make every effort to ensure that all courses listed are offered. However, from time to time, courses are cancelled.

You will be notified in the event that the course in which you registered is cancelled. A full refund for this course will be processed.

 

You may not register for courses where examinations conflict, or for courses which result in three examinations on one day.
Deferred exams may not be granted (check with a Student Advisor in your
Faculty)
