Sounding the Call for 2011
The University of Manitoba Dental Alumni Association has
issued a call for nominations for the 2011 Alumni of Distinction awards;
the annual salute to oral health excellence in Manitoba.
“We are now officially welcoming nominations for the 2011 Alumni of
Distinction award in advance of the awards banquet that will once again
take place during Homecoming Weekend,” said Dr. Chris Cottick, UMDAA
president. “We expect another strong field of candidates and look
forward to what is always a difficult selection process.”
Nominees must be a graduate of the DMD or a postgraduate program of
the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Manitoba who have served the
profession or community in such a way as to have distinguished
themselves, and directly or indirectly brought distinction and honour
to the Faculty.
Anyone may submit a nomination and all information submitted is
kept confidential. The deadline for nominations is April 30, 2011.
