Periodontal-Systemic Relationships

On Saturday, October 17th, 2009, we will offer a first-ever course, jointly sponsored by Continuing Dental Education, Continuing Medical Education and the Manitoba Dental Hygienists Association titled Periodontal-Systemic Relationships: What does it mean for Physicians, Nurses, Dentists, Hygienists and all the Health Professions?

This program is a joint collaboration between the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, and will be open to dentists, dental hygienists, nurses, physicians and all healthcare providers. This course is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the University of Manitoba for a maximum of 6 credits.



This program meets the accreditation criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been accredited for up to 6 Mainpro-M1 credits. Participants may claim 1 credit per hour of educations.
