Why choose Dental Hygiene at the University of Manitoba?
The University of Manitoba's School of Dental Hygiene has a thirty-five year history, producing quality graduates, many of whom have become highly respected leaders within the profession provincially, nationally, and internationally.
Diploma program
Following one year of prerequisite studies in the University I program, dental hygiene students complete two full years (four terms) of professional studies including extensive clinical and community experience and are granted a Diploma in Dental Hygiene.
Fully accredited - Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada
The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada, enabling graduates to seek licensure throughout Canada and the U.S. after successful completion of a National Board Examination. Graduates are eligible to write the National Dental Hygiene Certificate Examination, which provides portability across Canada
