Individuals wanting to take graduate courses but do not wish to apply for a program at this time may do so as an Occasional Student. Occasional students are assessed the graduate studies standard fee on a pro-rated basis. In addition they are charged the appropriate undergraduate faculty fees for all courses taken. Fees paid by a student while registered as an occasional student are not transferable to a degree program at a later date.
Admission as an Occasional Student is valid from September 1 to August 31; therefore, if an individual is admitted to take a course for January 2012 and wants to continue to take courses as an Occasional Student for September 2012, reapplication is necessary.
