Research Interests

Mr. Komarov studies microwave remote sensing of sea ice and the ocean surface. He is particularly interested in ice motion detection, wind speed at the ocean surface, and detection of sea ice changes using SAR images, as well as the modeling of electromagnetic waves scattered by first year sea ice.
