Research Interests

Dr. Liu studies modelling of the Arctic Ocean and sea-ice. His research is mainly
related to the NEMO ocean model coupled with a sea-ice model. He is
interested in regional impact of climate change on the sea-ice. He is also
interested in 3D/4D var data assimilation. He studied extreme weather in
the Arctic area in the past.
