Research Interests
Dr. Foster studies the fate of contaminants in the Arctic environment, including:
- the governing processes, such as biological vectors and oceanic/atmospheric long-range transport;
- bioaccumulation and biomagnification in organisms;
- trophic transfer of contaminants within food webs;
- methodologies for less invasive biological monitoring of contaminants;
- multimedia mass balance modelling of contaminant fate processes.
