What is this?

This is a RADAR presentation of the clutter on RADAR appearing beginning with the onset of the nocturnal inversion. Note first the sunspikes crossing the continent from east to west (except where it's precipitating) and as the sunspikes reach Michigan, the clutter starting in the northeast.
