Left-moving supercell on March 24, 2005

What happened?

On March 24, 2005 a series of thunderstorms rumbled across eastern Oklahoma. Contrary to what normally happens, a supercell split and the left-mover dominated. Note on the storm-relative velocity animations the anticyclonic rotation.

These RADAR animations are presented here.
