Class of 2019 nominated Dr. Sari Hannila for "Best Teaching In Small Groups"

Class of 2016 nominated Dr. Jerry Vriend for "Inspiration". 

Class of 2016 nominated Dr. Maria Vrontakis for "Mentorship". 

Class of 2015 nominated Dr. Sari Hannila and Dr. Sabine Hombach-Klonisch for "Inspiration". 

Class of 2015 nominated Dr. Jason Peeler for "Mentorship". 

These categories identify better recongnition for the excellence of teaching that comes in many forms.  These awards recongize teachers for their ability to convey the importance of what is being taught in an influential, stimulating and dedicated manner.


In the 2015-2016 academic year, Hugo Bergen was nominated and received the 'Most Innovative Use of Teaching with Technology in the Classroom’ teaching award from the Dentistry I students.

Jason Peeler was also nominated and received the "Best In Small groups, Innovation, Inspiration" teaching awards from the Med I & II students in that year.

In 2014 -2015 and 2016-2017 academic years, Sari Hannila was nominated and received the "Best in Small Group" teaching award from the Med I students.
