A minor in FSS will give you:

• Expertise in how the social determinants of health influence the health & well-being of children, older adults and communities
• An emphasis in prevention, including how to plan and implement programs that change people’s lives

What is a Minor in FSS?

• A total of 18 credit hours
• No more than 6 credit hours at the 1000 level
• At least 3 credit hours at the 2000 level
• At least 3 credit hours at the 3000 or 4000 level
