The Department of Family Social Sciences has been asked to participate in the restructuring process underway at the University of Manitoba.
As a Department, we are excited by the new possibilities for growth that restructuring may bring, and look forward to creating new and innovative opportunities for our undergraduate and graduate students.
While these discussions are underway, we would like to advise all of our current students, as well as potential students who are planning to apply to FSS this fall, that all of our courses and our degree programs are continuing “as is” for the foreseeable future.
All FSS students who are currently majoring in one of our specializations, as well as students from other programs or departments who are taking FSS courses as a minor, will continue to have full access to all FSS courses needed to complete their programs.
Students will be advised well in advance of any future changes that bring new developments, growth or expansion to our programs.
