Why is Nutrition Important?
Food is what fuels our bodies and our minds. In order to keep everything running optimally and to stay in the best of health, it is important to know what it is that best fuels our bodies. Nutrition scientists study a variety of things, including the relationship between food components and cell function, the factors that influence the technical and sensory profiles of foods, and why people choose certain foods, as well as the relationship between food and food components and the health of individuals within the community.
