 Gustaaf Sevenhuysen, Dean

Gustaaf Sevenhuysen, Dean

Dr. Sevenhuysen is the head of the administrative department of the faculty. He works with the three Department Heads in allocating resources for classroom, curriculum changes and additions as well as research. It's his signature that makes sure that we have phones in each office and computers on desks.

He is responsible for the budget submission to Central Administration each year. It is his job to tell them what we need and defend his decisions.

The Dean attends all of the Dean's and Director's meetings and is a member of the U of M Senate. He serves on most of the faculty committees including tenure, promotion and search committees.
