FEATURED POLLWill you attend first Bison Football game at Investors Group Field on Fri., Aug. 30 at 7 pm CT?
In it’s fifth year, the Residence Spirit Cup is a series of inter-residence events and charity fund raising efforts that challenge the residents of each residence to "out spirit" each other.
The Spirit Cup encompasses approximately 8 events. Over the course of the year residents participate in activities such as cheering on our Bison Sports teams, food and clothing drives, and raising money for charities.

The purpose of the Residence Spirit Cup is to encourage school spirit and highlight the many positive aspects of the University of Manitoba. As students, you have the opportunity to come together to achieve positive goals and challenge the other students around you.
Buildings receive spirit points on a per capita basis for their involvement in each activity and an overall winner is announced in April. The residence students that win are awarded a trophy and a cash prize that is to be donated back to the university in a way that benefits students, e.g. a scholarship or a residence project of their choice.
