Berube has been the head coach of the Bisons since 1997. Berube's highest finish at the CIS Cross Country Championships with the women's team was second in 2002 and the men's team was fourth in 2004.

An alumnus of the University of Manitoba, Berube is also the Head Coach of the Bison Track & Field team.
