The 70,000 square foot, Investors Group Athletic Centre features a fully retractable seating area, an athletic therapy unit, high quality acoustics and many other attractions. The building is designed for volleyball, basketball, and rhythmic gymnastics. The Investors Group Athletic Centre is home to the University of Manitoba Bison men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams, the Canadian national women’s volleyball team, and is used as the site of U of M convocations.

The gym floor area is made up of three international-size basketball and volleyball courts. A Bio-Channel hardwood floor provides the players with the best possible competition surface. Seating is accommodated by two sets of retractable bleachers which are located on the east and west courts respectively. The west, centre, and east court area can be separated by two, automated, heavyweight curtains.

The Investors Group Athletic Centre has the capacity to host special events of global magnitude from National Sport Championships to Concerts, Tradeshows and Symposiums.

Facilities does not allow marking (black sole) shoes on gym floors.
