University of Manitoba Hockey League (UMHL)

Open registration for new teams started on August 8th at 10am. New teams are accepted on a first come, first served basis until league capacity is reached. All new teams are required to complete a new team registration form (available on right hand side of this page).

A winter tradition for over 15 years, the UMHL is a men’s recreational, non-contact, adult ice hockey league. The UMHL season consists of 22 games, plus playoffs, with games scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in the Max Bell Arena on the University of Manitoba Fort Garry Campus.

To provide an enjoyable atmosphere for hockey that fosters good sportsmanship, and allows players to compete in a safe, recreational league.

Registration Information

Early Registration (for returning teams only) is August 6th & 7th. Returning Teams must complete a team registration form. Teams requiring their account barcode & pin for online registration, should contact the League Coordinator 24 hours before they wish to register.
