In this course we will be working on the foundations of tai chi through standing meditation practice and silk reeling exercises. Some forms will be taught as well as parner work (push hands). Over time, we will learn to focus on the breath and developing awareness for, and movement of, internal energy (qi). With sufficient practice, tai chi is known for improving flexibility, building strength and relieving stress.
