Purpose:
This event is the first HLHPRI Research Day where we will showcase cutting-edge Manitoba research. Attendees will:

  • Learn about current research conducted by research affiliates of the Health, Leisure and Human Performance Research Institute.
  • Share in the discussion of how this knowledge can be applied in everyday practice.

Presenters are all research affiliates of the Health, Leisure & Human Performance Research Institute (HLHPRI).

Who should attend?
This event is intended for practitioners, professionals, researchers, policy makers, and students in the areas of physical activity, kinesiology, sport, health promotion, health care, recreation, leisure, tourism, and community development.

Registration will occur from March 4 - May 6. Please complete and submit the registration form (PDF version or MS Word version) found on this website. Space is limited.

Continuing Education Credits: Some of our sessions will be eligible for continuing education credit with the Manitoba Fitness Council (MFC) and Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP).
