Cameron Norman is fascinated by complex social problems, how to address them and the ways we can apply creativity to designing healthier futures for us all. Cameron is an educator, researcher, health promoter, and designer who works to advance community health and wellbeing through social innovation. His research and practice lays at the intersection of systems thinking, creative learning and design and has focused on public engagement, social media and eHealth, developmental evaluation and multimedia literacies for health. Cameron is the Principal of CENSE Research + Design, a social innovation studio for health promotion, and an Adjunct Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto.

Andrea Yip, MPH is a public health promoter and researcher dedicated to promoting health and social change by creatively engaging communities through design. She engages people in the making of multimedia, visual arts, processes, strategies, and programs that focus on identifying and taking meaningful actions on local public health issues. This involves active community-based research and deep participation that honors and amplifies people’s voices, talents, knowledge, experience, and skills both online and offline. Andrea has over 8 years of experience in the area of youth health promotion and specializes in social media strategy development and implementation, visual communications, and design thinking.
