Preparing for the MCCQE Part I Exam
Overview
The Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination Part I (MCCQE Part I) is a one-day, computer-based test that assesses the competence of candidates who have obtained their medical degree, for entry into supervised clinical practice in postgraduate training programs.
The 3 ½ hours morning portion of the exam consists of 196 multiple-choice questions. The 4 hour afternoon clinical decision making component of the exam consists of short-menu and short-answer write-in questions.
All of the MCC examinations are based on the Objectives of the Qualifying Examination
