Reading Techniques
- Skim : Before starting to read large amounts of material, take a second to skim over the pages to be studied. Take note of the major headings and write them down as an outline for your notes.
- Format: decide on how you will organize your notes. Try and use Headings, subheadings, graphs, and concept maps , highlight and underline
- Anticipate: potential questions for use on MCQ exams and write them out as practice for your review later
- Visualize: the material you’ve just read in your mind
- Repetition : review your summary notes on a regular basis
