Opportunities for research training in the cutting-edge fields of cancer, cardiovascular, medical microbiology, immunology, neurosciences, population health, medical rehabilitation. Our students receive research experience in world-renown facilities such as those of Health Canada’s National Microbiology Laboratory, NRC’s Institute for BioDiagnostics, the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy, the Manitoba Institute for Child Health, CancerCare’s Manitoba Institute for Cell Biology and the St. Boniface Hospital Research Centre in addition to the wealth of laboratories at the Bannatyne Campus. Our MD/PhD program is only one of many initiatives engaging the clinical/basic/population interfaces and exercising the objectives of translational research.
Graduate programs in our Faculty are administered by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and we work in concert with them to optimize our programs.
