Biography:

Sharon Bruce received her PhD from the University of Manitoba in 1999 (anthropology).  Her areas of specialization and research include medical anthropology, the epidemiology of diabetes and the health of Aboriginal peoples.  She is currently an associate professor in the department of Community Health Sciences, and an adjunct professor in the department of anthropology.
