Prospective Residents - Our Enhanced Skills Programs
The University of Manitoba Department of Family Medicine offers six enhanced skills programs in Anesthesia, Care of the Elderly, Sports and Exercise Medicine, Palliative Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Oncology.
These programs are designed to help develop expertise and skills in an area of interest. A variety of six-month to one-year training programs are available. These positions are funded at a Postgraduate Year 3 residency.
Our programs are open to current second-year residents and practicing family physicians.
