Bilingual (French/English) Stream
The Bilingual (French/English) Stream accepted its first residents in 2005 and currently accepts three residents per year. The first year Family Medicine Block Time is spent at Centre de Santé, a Francophone clinic in St. Boniface. The off-service rotations are done at either Health Science Centre or St. Boniface Hospital and these are done in English. In the second year, the residents spend a total of five months in two largely Francophone rural communities, Ste. Anne and Notre Dame de Lourdes.
