Numerical grade to letter grade conversion:

In addition to the U of M requirement for a minimum overall GPA of 3.0, the minimum passing grade is 3.0 (B) for all courses taken in the Department, while a minimum passing grade of 2.5 (C+) is acceptable for courses taken outside the Department (ancillary subjects).
